Our quest is over. Our heroes have triumphed. All is well. Time for the adventure summary!
I do like this story. It’s not the best, and the anthology structure isn’t for everyone, but it worked for me. This could have been another excellent four part story that went entirely too long, but it didn’t.
Of the various stories, I liked the one with Trapper John the best, though “The Screaming Jungle” had its moments. There weren’t any episodes I actively disliked, which is a first for the series so far.
Really, the whole thing just worked very well for me and even though this story isn’t as good as the one that comes next, it’s still pretty great.
REWARDS: all characters receive 5,345 exp. 6,000 required to level! 512 gold awarded. The party also found a minor artifact and several Vortex Manipulators +1.
